Adventures with Mom and Dad

Today we had a fun adventure at Tarague Beach on Andersen Air Force Base. We drove "all the way to Andersen" (you know, on an island, distance becomes relative, and 23 miles seems like too far to go on a regular basis). The hike at the beach was nice, some of it was along the sandy beach and some of it was through the coconut palm forest just inland. Mom and Dad are enjoying their visit, but I think they miss seeing two of their grandkids on a daily basis. We have a lot more planned for their stay, which is good, since they will be here for a while yet. Tomorrow, I think we are going to hike to a set of caves nearby then spend some time relaxing. If we keep up this pace, I will need a vacation from their vacation!

Here is a picture of me and Mom on the rocks at Tarague Beach.

And another one of the waterfall we went to their first weekend here.
