Opening Day

Tom and I went to opening day at Nationals Park today. They played (and lost to) the Braves in beautiful 40 degree and rainy weather. We actually stayed for most of the game - the little man was in daycare. Today was his last day at the Bolling daycare - he will miss his caregivers there and I know they will miss him too. He is starting at Coast Guard Headquarters tomorrow - Tom will be able to go down and see him during the day now, and I will be able to when I transfer there July.

Baby-O's new favorite thing is his walker. If he keeps it lined up right, he goes all the way across the house and when he gets to the end he turns around with one arm up in the air as if to say, "Come over here and turn me around!". He is such a cutie!

More Visitors

Baby-O sure is popular. Grandma and Grandpa left on Wednesday and Nan and her friend Cindy came to visit on Sunday:

We had a nice time with them, and our little man is getting used to having extra people around.

I think Nan enjoyed it too...

We recently learned that it makes different noises if you cover your mouth with your hand while yelling. It is pretty cute to see him do it, even if he does have beets all over his face:

Anybody Want a Hug?

Baby-O is a great eater - usually more of it makes it into his mouth than this...



We are having a great time here with Grandma and Grampa! Baby-O took right to them and is a big fan. I need to get some shot of him with them. For now, here are a few very cute shots from this afternoon after school while we were waiting for the sight-seers to return home.

Babies and Boxes

What is it about empty boxes that attracts babies and cats? Baby - O loves to play and beat on empty boxes and Sylvester loves to crawl in and hide from the world!

Here is Baby-O playing with Dad and some boxes:

The kitty cat and Baby-O love to play in the boxes together and to "fight" over who gets which box. It is pretty funny, even when there are two boxes they both want the same one.

The bouncy seat saw the end of its service life quite a while ago, but Baby-O still seems very interested in his good old woodland friends.

Baby-O made the trip across the room to Mom a few times before I got the camera out, so he was starting to get tired. Still, he is doing pretty well on two feet!
