Rota and Coconuts

Our trip to Rota was a big success. We had two full days of relaxation (there is not much to do in Rota but relax). Here is the Coconut Village Resort.

Our cute cabins...

We rode bikes to the simming hole. Here is Marcy and I on the beach cruisers, followed by a shot of the swimming hole...

We also had a sunset picnic of Champagne and cheese at the Bird Sanctuary.

This is the fishing cliff.

We also drove around a mostly abandoned part of the island, visited the Taga Cave and spent an entire day lazing on the beach and playing Scrabble. Yup, we are crazy vacationers!

Hi Amy & Tom.... Well, this morning, I awoke to the playing of taps and the shot of a cannon....so that leads me to ask, "Do you know where I am spending Thanskgiving??? In New London of course! Amy and Stacy live across from the Academy on the campus of Conn College (where Amy works now). Literally, right across 32 from the academy. Wish you were here!!! I loved all of the pictures from Marcy's trip and wish I could have joined her. Looks like you all had a blast! Hope Tom is feeling better! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

PS. Amy and Stacy both say hello :)
