Happy Father's Day

What a face!We had a nice visit with Nan and Pop this weekend. We spent the day on Saturday at a beautiful winery near their house. There was live music, O had a great time dancing and we enjoyed the beautiful weather and wine.

O has been really into books lately. He mostly likes to bring them to Tom or I and sit in our lap to look at them, but sometimes he just looks by himself.

We are off to NJ for a quick visit tomorrow - then Tuesday is my last day of work at DHS!

Funny Faces

We had fun playing at the park this evening after dinner. O is getting good at climbing around, and the bigger boys tearing around the playground gave us a glimpse of our not-so-distant future. He really likes looking out through the plastic bubble:

My week away went fine, O had tons of fun with Nan and Dad, and he was very happy to see me when I got home. We had a nice quiet weekend at home hiding away from the heat. The weather has broken and we have a week of weather in the low 80s in front of us, we are going to take advantage of it before the 95+ weather sets in for good!

Dancing Man

O love music and loves to dance. Lately he has been going over to the speaker to hold on and dance when we put music on.

Yesterday we spent the day at the Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts for the Louisiana Swamp Romp. We had a great time, it was a beautiful day and there was ample shade to keep the little man cool.

I am heading out for a three night work trip today. I sure will miss the little guy!
