We have had a lot of visitors lately, and boy has it worn us out!
Last weekend, we saw Kristen for a few hours:
Then during the week we traveled to NJ for Grandmom's funeral. It was a quick trip, and we learned that Olin does not like the car seat anymore. Hopefully that will change. We don't have any photos from the trip, but it was a very nice service and the little guy was able to meet more of his extended family. We will miss Grandmom, and are grateful to have had her in our lives.
When we got home, our friend Nora came to visit.
Over Memorial Day weekend, Grandma and Grandpa came to visit with cousins Katelyn and Jenna. We had a very busy weekend! We visited the Natural History Museum and attended the dress rehearsal for the National Memorial Day concert on Saturday. On Sunday, we saw some of Rolling Thunder (the motorcycle rally tribute to POW/MIA) and went to the Air and Space Museum after visiting the local market and seeing some music.
It was a great weekend, the baby enjoyed the visits, but was unfortunately cranky for much of the weekend. I think it is the heat. Here he is with Grandma, a shot of Katelyn and Jenna and one of the baby with Katelyn:
Monday we said goodbye to our visitors and relaxed at home for the rest of the day. Of course, we had some dancing time!
Last night we had a great visit with our visitors from Guam. It was really great to see Traci and Matt, both of whom were in town for a conference.
This week, Baby-O and I got out every day for a trip somewhere, including his first art museum yesterday. Today, Karen and Krishnan are coming over for lunch and a play date.
